Forever Family Friday

Maxim, dear sweet Maxim. I have a friend, who is in love with you. So many have seen your picture and just passed you by and now, my friend is praying for you to find a family. Honestly, I was guilty of passing you over. Your picture didn't make my heart skip a beat, but it did hers. When I learned how much she loves you, I went back and looked, again. Now, I see it. Sweet Maxim, forgive me for overlooking you. Once, I put my "love" glasses on, you began to sparkle. I read the words of other Moms, who've met you and realized how much potential everyone is overlooking.

Here's what one Mom had to say after meeting you in October of this past year...

Maxim is one of the sweetest little boys I've ever met. He pats my arm in the most adorable, gentle way, and it absolutely melts my heart! He is now walking with very minimal assistance, and crawls faster than any other child I've ever met. He is a smart boy, and will follow directions (for example, come over to the carpet). He has an amazing attention span, and will bounce a ball back and forth with me for at least 20 minutes straight. He has the most wonderful laugh, and is a very joyful little guy! He has so much potential, someone please choose Maxim!!

She saw it! All of your potential, the promise of who you CAN be! Another Mom saw it, too. My friend, Tonya, saw it just by looking at your picture...

You made her heart skip a beat! What will happen when your Mama finally sees you? Oh, Maxim, we HAVE to find her, because she's missing out on YOU! You are a treasure, sweet boy and we will find her for you.

Please, share Maxim's story, his Reece's Rainbow profile. Help find his family. He has almost $5,000 in his grant and it costs around $25,000 to adopt from his country. Please, don't let all this JOY be sent away to a mental institution. Let's find his forever family.

Pray, Adopt, Advocate, Support...Maxim is waiting!

Hidden in Christ,

  1. Love glasses? Beautiful and correct. Maxim is a beauty to me. I have prayed for him for three years. How much longer must he wait?

  2. It breaks my heart to think he's been waiting for over three years. Yes, sometimes, I have to remind myself to "see" what Jesus' "sees." That's when I put on my "love" glasses :)

  3. Mandy, thanks for being an advocate for Maxim. While I want to be the one who brings Maxim home if I am not the one God has picked out to be his mommy I pray that his mommy will find him soon!!!! His eyes say that he has so much love and joy to share with a family & the rest of the world :)

  4. He looks like a joyful little soul! It breaks my heart every time I start looking on Reece's Rainbow, and, if the day ever comes where we can adopt, it would break my heart to choose 1 and leave the others. I know God has a plan for them all, but, this side of Heaven its hard sometimes to see God in the situation of the orphans, though I see him in people like you and Marty and all the others that are trying to make a difference. I see his hand when I read of funds that came in over night and all the other 'little' miracles he works.
